Talking about the concept of virginity makes me very uncomfortable because of the social stigma that exists behind the binary that is virginity or a lack thereof. It classifies girls (and guys, but I won't get into that) into being either pure/innocent/cute/"untainted" or, well, "slutty." It automatically confines us with pre-existing, absolute social judgments and even dictates how we should feel about our own selves on the basis of something so completely irrelevant.

Sex is sex. With consent and proper protection, it's fucking awesome. GOD FORBID we have a good time, right? Our culture has taught us that it's not maturity or level of preparedness or protection or even the love that matters, but "virginity." Which doesn't even physically exist, and is at the same time a very blurred, undefined concept that was the death of women around the world for ages (if you'd recall the use of "virginity kits" in many third-world countries that encourage virginity as a defining pillar for "purity").

Our culture has taught us to believe that someone who's had it is automatically "dirty" or "stained," which is complete bullshit. (And vice versa for virginity - the personal choice to abstain has nothing to do with the person, least of all whether they're a "loser" or not). The labels created for virgins/non-virgins only support a bullshit, undefined binary (with no in-between) system that only reinforces slut-shaming/virgin-shaming and moral absolutes that dictate what is "wrong" and what is "right" to do, even in the case of decisions that should be completely personal and should make the woman feel empowered in their ability to decide what's best for themselves. - Lucy Doan

2011 in review: Milestones

Had 6 of my teeth plucked out!!! OMG this was the proudest moment of my life because I am damn squeamish, even though I tend to act otherwise BUT I am damn weak when it comes to like, gore. I know pluck teeth not gore LAH but OMG I cannot stand stuff like that. I AM SO WEAK!!!!!!!! I was trembling the whole time I was in the dental chair SOBSSSSSSS. Had 2 of my wisdom teeth plucked out and 4 normal teeth. Wtf ok!!! That's some crazy fuck!!! BUT, I DID ITTTTTT. I am so proud of myself man. Jajajajajajajajajajajajajajaja.
Worked more than 1 month full time. Lol!!! Not really counted as work because it was internship. And not really much of a choice either =_= But still proud because I completed it!!!!!!! 4 months of getting scolded by the people there!!! 4 months of doing stupid administration billing and sai!!!! 4 months of waking up early and going to work until so late!!!!! 4 months of almost all day OT!!!!!!!! I cannot imagine how I am going to survive in the working world next time ok? Fk up.
Put on my bottom braces. And had tons of ulcers and mouth sores.
Went to MBS!!! 1st time with my family, 2nd was with baby (his dad gave us a suite!!!), 3rd with family!!!!! Maybe 4 times but I can't remember jaja. So awesum. Today I started my DAMN internship!!!! Reached early, signed contract, got my the TAP TAP pass but CANT TAP. NABEIIII. I was looking forward to the tap tap thing T_T Blah. Was okay. Did a little bit of data entry. My colleagues were all REARRRRY friendly and funny ^.^ I liek foreigners!! Huhuhu. I don't like that I have to wake up early bla bla thou. Cuz I got my stupid sinus problem. Sneezing and feeling lethargic like out of nowhere. :\ Plus I got these stupid like withdrawal symptoms if I'm not staring at my laptop I AM SERIOUS. When I'm out for long, I don't stare at my laptop having something to occupy myself with, I get dry eyes, dizzy spells and shit. I think I hallucinate too much, then again. BAH, jesus, I don't know how am I supposed to cope with the next 4 months. :\
